Hey gamers,
I’ve been a die hard Total War fan for a while now, but surprisingly i’ve rarely delved into the modding world of it all. I’ve tried the Darth Mods and such but never knew you could download mods that basically give you an entirely new game.
The ACW mod for Empire Total War entirely changes everything about the game other than the mechanics. It’s so different from the original in fact that if you were to compare it to the original not knowing it was a mod, you would certainly think it was a new Total War or at least an expansion. Nope. It’s an entirely free mod. The work put in to make this mod as true to the civil war as possible really needs to be commended. Not to mention the hours it took to put this all together. Personally, I think this should have been sold to SEGA, polished, and released as an expansion. I would easily pay $50 for this game.
If you don’t own Empire Total War, it can be found pretty cheap nowadays, and the installation of the mod is super easy. I highly recommend that you try this mod.
