Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Hey gamers,

I finally purchased Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and even though it’s relatively entertaining and has some decent graphics, I just can’t bring myself to play more than 10 minutes at a time.

This game suffers from the great curse of repetitiveness in my opinion. Although the story progresses somewhat, you end up doing the same exact thing pretty much every level. In the competetive world of shooting games, you need to switch it up a little every once in a while. If you’re a fan of the series, you might like this game. But if you had high expectations, you may be a little dissapointed. It is over all a good game, but I can’t say I would recommend paying $50 for it.

Get it or Skip it?

Skip it. I would definately suggest buying this game if it were about $20, but any more than that seems like a waste of money.

PS. This game definately gets more fun past the first couple of levels. This game eventually does get away from the norm of shooting and the sync shots can be very satisfying. I’ll bump my suggested price to $30. Definately look into it if and when they release a weekend Steam special because it can be pretty fun in the later levels.

I have to say the multiplayer is pretty fun. I’ll bump my suggested price up to $25.
