Syndicate

Syndicate, remake of the 1993 classic was released last week and everyone seems to have the same thing to say about it. It’s another okay FPS. Nothing special. And in my opinion, It’s even more simple than your average FPS which rates it even lower in my book.

The single player experience is limited with a story line you hardly care about. They try to make up for it with new, futuristic weapons like suicide chips and heat seeking gause rifles but these additions just make the game a hell of a lot easier. The online co-op can be fun but in the end its all the same repetitive nonsense. Everything about it simply feels underdone.  Unfortunately, given another year or two this game could have been good.  This game is nothing like it’s predecessor and can hardly be called a sequal.

One up side to this fail is that one of my favorite new artists Skrillex does the main theme for the game. which is pretty cool and sounds really good. Too bad he didn’t make his gaming debut on a better release..

Get it or Skip it?

Skip it. Obviously. Sorry Starbreeze, you failed.
