Hey gamers,
The original Rome Total War was the first game of its kind and arguably still the best. And ever since the graphics capabilities of computers have soared, (mainly in the past few years) fanatics and recreational players alike have been dreaming of a redone Rome Total War.
Well, our prayers were answered. The next step in the Total War franchise will be going back to its roots with Rome 2. Although early in the creative process, it has been confirmed that the game will feature state of the art graphics with a new graphics engine, land and sea battles (as in ships and infantry in the same battles including the ability to drop off units from the sea) and even more detailed close up melee battles unlike anything we’ve ever seen in the Total War series. Supposedly they worked with weapon historians to make them spot on!
This is all we really know so far. No release date has been set, but it is a fact. Rome Total War 2 is coming!
