Hey gamers,
As you may have heard the Mass Effect 3 demo has been released and if your a fan of the franchise your probably pretty pumped. The Mass Effect franchise is a unique series that puts you in command of a ship called the “Normandy” that is destined to save the universe in a Gears of war style over-the-shoulder shooter while maintaining an RPG style experience. When the first Mass Effect was released it was truly ground breaking and forced other game developers of every type to step up their game.
Mass Effect 3 seems to be another great addition to the story with some very familiar gameplay. Although it didn’t change much in style and appearance, this game is set up to be another great addition to the franchise. Based on the demo, Mass Effect 3 is definitely just a more polished Mass Effect 2 with no huge graphical changes. The biggest differences are in the physics and movement of the characters, not so much in the appearance and textures. The graphics options are way more limited than in Mass Effect 2 and this may be a concern for those using high end computers. Hopefully the official release will have more options.
Overall I think Bioware could have done more but i’m excited nonetheless. If you liked the previous games, you’ll definitely love this one.
