For those of you who bought Diablo III you may be asking yourself… “Why can’t I just effing play?!?!?” Good question.
Because, to prevent Piracy, Blizzard made this an online only game. Even if your playing in SP. This means you can’t play unless you have an internet connection… and oh yea, even if you do, the servers will be down so you can’t play anyways.
This really, really pisses me off. The whole reason for making it online only was to make it harder to pirate. Well, this game was all over pirate sites day one of release. And thousands of players are downloading it for free, are able to play offline, and don’t have to worry about servers being down. So, if you get this game for free, you can play problem free. But if you buy it, you won’t be able to play when you want to.
I’m sure Blizzard will fix the problem soon, but it is unbelievable that I bought this game tuesday and the servers have been down every single night. Pirates win again.
I’m really hope they just allow an offline mode. There’s no reason you need to be online to play.
